Second level of DataCamp's predictive maintenance competition series. The question shifted from whether failures can be predicted to whether precision manufacturing can move past reactive maintenance.
The Solution
Pushed further into feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning using GridSearchCV. Built on the Level 1 foundation with tighter model optimization to answer whether predictions are precise enough to be useful in a real manufacturing context.
