About the Competition
Final level of DataCamp's predictive maintenance competition series — and the most analytical of the three. Focused on pre-failure machine behavior patterns rather than just binary failure prediction.
The Solution
Analyzed how machines behave in the lead-up to failure — what signals appear, how early they show up, and whether patterns hold across different machine types. Combined deep EDA with a well-tuned ensemble model carried over from earlier rounds to complete the three-level sweep.
